BioChain’s tissue products are based on a sample repository network established following the IRB-approved ethical standard and procedures. The repository covers a wide variety of species and diseases, including human normal tissues, human diseased and tumor tissues, as well as mouse, rat, and monkey tissues. All the tissues are identified by a board-licensed pathologist. BioChain’s formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue section line encompasses a large selection of tissue sections which are suitable for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization assays. The tissue sections are approximately 5 µm thick.Features • Tissue from a wide variety of difficult to obtain tissue sources • Suitable for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization assays • Multiple tissues or single tissue per slideApplications • Cellular localization of tissue specific mRNA and protein expression • In situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry, and in situ PCR application • Comparison of the locations of novel genes in different tissues • FFPE DNA and RNA isolation • Antibody validationQuality Control • At least one of the tissue slides from each lot was stained with H & E to ensure quality. For lot specific information such as Diagnosis and Donor Information, please refer to the Datasheet below.Important Notice: This tissue product is manufactured by a third party and is presented with the pathologic diagnosis supplied by the provider.
